Wow, we all made it! Easter 2020 is done and dusted. I loved witnessing the creativity of children and parents during this time. This Easter long weekend was anything but normal!
Jackson and his parents came up with some clever ways to use paint. In the above pic he is rolling marbles in a paint filled dish. This gradually paints the bunny stencil using movement. It's also great for developing fine motor skills and concentration.
These eggs are in a salad spinner dribbled with paint! How cool is that? You then spin the spinner (obviously) and the paint splashes onto the eggs. How clever is Jacksons Mum? I love this idea, and it would be fun for children too.
Here's Penny Age 4. Penny looks super happy right? That's because she's about to make homemade chocolate Easter eggs with her Mum Sammi!

All in all, it was a pretty decent Easter. We were very lucky in Canberra as Easter Sunday was warm, mild and sunny. I spent the day painting and gardening. Art and a bit of sunshine can do wonders for your heart and soul.
Happy Easter 2020 to you. :)
